In December 2010, I was invited by the British Council to participate in a photography project called My Home is Here. The project involved travelling around Nigeria to produce images of Climate Change in Nigeria. As part of this project, I won a Canon 5D MkII camera and was selected to travel to Ethiopia to exhibit at the 2010 Addis Foto Festival in Ethiopia.
I have been commissioned and my works published in the Abuja and Lagos TimeOut city guide, including two front covers, The Africa Report, The Sunday Telegraph London, Foto8, Demotix, Mediadesk UK, BBC, Arise Magazine BigBrother Africa (Video) Frog Design Shanghai and other local and international publications and NGO’s including USAID, Amnesty International, Finland, Norway and Swedish embassies in Nigeria. My achievements also included being selected to participate as a photographer on the Invisible border’s 2011 trans-Africa road trip Lagos-Chad-Sudan Ethiopia.
