EIEWGN ABUJA, FIVE DAY SENSITIZATION VISIT TO BORNO

The delegation was drawn from Education, justice, NERDC, MoD, human rights and women affairs. We held workshops with govt/civil society working in education, emergencies, soldiers from 7^th Division of Nigerian Army, Meeting With GOC. Gen. Bulama Biu, visited community and IPD Camp schools in Maiduguri and konduga and a tour of new model schools courtesy of the commissioner of education (7^th Division Nigeria Army) and MoD for engaging with EIEWGN for the past 18 months on the combat and non- combat role of military in protecting education from attack.
